Technicolor Creative Services in Toronto (www.tcstoronto.com) has hired senior colorist, Demetri Kitsopoulos to its commercial department and senior visual effects artist Dan Kelly.
Demetri has earned worldwide recognition and creative kudos while building tenure as a colourist across five continents. From Digital Magic in LA to VHQ in Kuala Lumpur…. from The Refinery in Johannesburg to Digital Film Lab in Copenhagen. His range of work is comprised of a unique blend of commercials, music videos, digital intermediates for feature films, and FX work. Demetri has attained “guru” status on DaVinci’s 2K colour grading system and continues to be consulted by manufacturers, facilities and Colourists worldwide. He has recently won a Silver at the Hispanic Creative Advertising Awards for Knorr-Fonda-EJE Publicitaria, San Juan Puerto Rico.

Dan comes to TCS with an impressive design background, cultivated during his early years at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. His experience with The Moving Picture Company (MPC) and Cinesite Europe puts him in the company of the world’s leading commercial and feature 2D artists and compositors. Dan’s most recent work includes the Harry Potter film, “The Goblet of Fire”, Guinness and Heineken. He has also won two Silver Cannes Lions 2005 for Smirnoff Red Vodka-Diamond-JWT, UK; and Tango-Pipes-Clemmow Hornby Inge, UK.
