BOXX and ProMAX Team Up

In a far-reaching agreement, ProMAX Systems, Inc. (Irvine, California) and BOXX Technologies, Inc. (Austin, Texas) announced today that they will jointly deliver a broad range of specialized media creation products for film, video and broadcast professionals.

BOXX Technologies is a leading provider of workstations and render nodes for the VFX and animation markets. BOXX’s strategy is to rapidly make new performance technologies available to creative professionals to improve the efficiency of their workflow. ProMAX Systems is a leading provider of turnkey DV, SD, and HD digital video editing systems for the broadcast, post or production, corporate video, academic and government markets. ProMAX delivers stability, performance and high quality support in advanced integrated video systems.

The two make for a powerful combination. BOXX will complement its range of specialized 3DBOXX™ workstations and RenderBOXX render nodes with ProMAX’s extensive line of fully integrated video editing systems, and powerful SAN storage systems.

ProMAX will power a range of turnkey video editing systems with purpose-built workstations designed and manufactured by BOXX. Video editing professionals will see an immediate benefit from acquiring ProMAX video editing solutions powered by BOXX workstations that are certified and optimized to provide both performance and reliability when running advanced video editing applications.

BOXX and ProMAX intend to engage in a broad range of joint marketing activities in order to leverage each other’s market and customer expertise.
