Press Release

Milagro Post in Southfield Michigan announced that it has added three
new creative artists to its roster of editors, compositors and
commercial designers. Paula Carlson and Alan Simonelli join the studio
as its visual effects artists, while Chris Bickell rounds out the team
as Milagro's creative editor, specializing in spot work.
Prior to joining Milagro Post, Carlson worked at GTN in Oak Park
Michigan where she excelled in creative design, FX work, and
compositing. Simonelli also hails from GTN, where he worked for such
agency clients as BBDO, Doner, Y & R, Campbell-Ewald and Leo
Burnett. Both artists have years of experience on Discreet's Flame and
Inferno effects systems. Bickell, formerly of Pluto Post, has brought a
diverse client base to Milagro. He continues to expand his client
following while creating on the Avid Media Composer Adrenaline.
"All of these people are highly respected, talented artists," said
Michael Suggs, co-founder of Milagro Post. "Creative editorial feeds
the post process and part of getting the creative editorial projects is
having a strong design and graphics group."
Carlson, VFX artist said: "It is a goal of mine is to be a catalyst for
the already expanding client base at Milagro. What is impressive to me
is how the emphasis is placed on the artists, which allows for us to
choose which toolsets are used on a project to project basis. I am
excited about bringing in a whole new area of graphics for Milagro."
Bickell, creative editor, said: "Milagro is an interesting mix of
creative atmosphere and technology. It has a certain image and client
base and a burning desire to break out into doing some new stuff and
expanding to an ever growing market area."
Alan Simonelli added: "I come to the table as an experienced artist
that works well within the culture of Milagro. I am looking forward to
continuing my work on Discreet systems while taking advantage of the
many other technologies Milagro has available to our clients."
