production company Stardust Studios has hired Michael
Neithardt as its new senior producer. A veteran producer
with credits spanning the worlds of feature films, television
and theater, Neithardt has worked with Stardust on a
freelance basis on several recent high-profile projects.
Neithardt began his career as the assistant to former Miramax
Films' co-chairman Bob Weinstein, where he worked closely
with the independent film icon during the production and
release of many acclaimed films, including Academy Award-
winners "Shakespeare in Love" and „Good Will Hunting.‰
Neithardt went on to produce an as-yet unreleased independent
horror feature entitled "Harwood," while also working in
production management posts for New Line Cinema, Time Warner
and VH1. In 2003, he established Palmy Inn, his own creative
production company, where he wrote, produced and directed
commercials, music videos, television programs and
promotional packages for SonyBMG, AOL and a variety of other
clientele ˆ while also producing an Off-Off Broadway
production of Stephen Belber's "Tape."

alike,” said Stardust executive producer Eileen Doherty.
“He has produced a long list of projects that required him
to wear a lot of hats, and his poised handling of those jobs
earned our complete trust. He’s the perfect fit for running
our New York office.”
In his new role, Neithardt is responsible for the overall
operation of Stardust‚s Manhattan studio in SoHo, and he
will oversee each project for the New York studio.
