Press Release

The ideal evolution of broadcast design and visual media production has been realized with the opening of wildstyle. An NYC-based firm, wildstyle has gathered the next wave of talent from across the globe, dedicated to original artistic visions and unparalleled client support.
wildstyle stands out by equipping its personnel with the freedom to make unforgettable commercials and campaigns. “Our goal is to excite clients and audiences at the same time by pushing the envelope of creative concepts,” explains Gene Nazarov, Creative Director for wildstyle. “In the wildstyle environment every media project has the potential to achieve a fresh expression, which we can guide ‘ if desired ‘from concept to completion.”
At the core of wildstyle is Nazorov, plus an unusually imaginative group of visual artists, including European transplants, Art Director Gregory de Maria, Animator Orges Kokoshari, and Argentinean Flame artist Martin Lazaro. A group with deep experience in every facet of media production — including de Maria’s work as Art Director/Designer for Attik, and Nazarov’s spearheading of the New York 3D arm of Brand New School — wildstyle’s creatives have groundbreaking credits in everything from 3D motion graphics to French movie poster design.
“The philosophy is to combine the European creative touch with the American fast-track working dynamic,” Nazarov says. “At wildstyle, we are taking our passion for art and applying it to thought-provoking advertising, where complex visual effects and live action can combine seamlessly.”
Adds Nazarov, “wildstyle’s method is to always start with a strong concept, and then make it visually interesting, fun and exciting for the audience. It's great that we have a team here with the ability to create just about anything in CG.”
wildstyle is housed in the same expansive, retro-future loft studios as wild(child) Post, the NYC firm that offers elite editing, graphics, inferno/flame, and audio services for broadcast. “wildstyle is a stand-alone company offering services to a wide range of clients in addition to the editorial clients that come to work at wild(child) Post,” says wildstyle Executive Producer Elissa Muddell. “It has become increasingly important to be able to offer a full range of services under one roof. This gives our editorial clients the opportunity to work and collaborate with our international team of designers and it allows a seamless workflow between editorial, visual effects and audio in one facility.”
The result is a heightened media production experience, where a nothing-is-impossible attitude works within realistic client expectations for efficient timelines and budgets. “wildstyle is a resource for agencies and media producers to come up with amazing creative solutions,” says Daria Zeliger, Director of Sales for wildstyle. “Our team allows them to reach out to a set of sensibilities that hasn’t been tapped yet. This is about access to original ideas, delivered by people who also have the experience to make them practical and achievable.”
With wildstyle, the enhanced paradigm for creating broadcast and visual design has officially arrived. “We are ecstatic to be at the center of this artistic advance for commercial and media production,” concludes Yvette Pineyro, President of wildstyle. “This is a team whose diverse influences and backgrounds provide an unusually deep breadth of talents and skills. They all speak the common language of art: That is the definition of wildstyle.”
