Press Release

Bluefish444 today announced the immediate availability of retail installer V5.2.4 for all Bluefish444 uncompressed SD/HD SDI hardware. Retail installer V5.2.4 includes support for Adobe Production Studio and Symmetry 3.0 across the entire line of Bluefish444 hardware.
Adobe Production Studio
Bluefish444 hardware includes integrated support for the Adobe Production Studio suite of products including: Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe After Effects 7.0, Adobe Audition 2.0, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Encore DVD 2.0, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0
Bluefish444 has incorporated all the major features contained in its Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.1 plug-in into Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. These features include:
Real Time Effects – The Bluefish444 plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 supports the native Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 effects and transitions library, supporting multiple streams of uncompressed and compressed SD video. By directly accessing the Adobe Premiere 2.0 effects and transitions engine, all the Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 effects and transitions are available, allowing for
unrestrictive choice during the editing and layout process.
Once the edit of the compressed or uncompressed file is complete, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 will
conform the timeline during the export process to the uncompressed Bluefish444 QuickTime 10 bit YUV file format, maintaining the highest 10 bit SD SDI quality throughout the edit process.
Multiple File Format Real Time Playback – The Bluefish444 plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 will support real time file format mixing and
playback on the timeline to the application and broadcast monitor, without having to re-render
non 10 bit YUV QuickTime v210 files. Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 customers can mix any file
format supported by the Adobe Premiere Pro import engine such as TGA, AVI, JPEG, TIFF, DV, HDV and title sequences.
SD DV Offline – The Bluefish444 plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 supports an offline function for Adobe
Premiere Pro customers working with HD and SD. By taking advantage of the Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 DV file format support, HD and SD editors can capture offline from an SD-SDI/analog source to SD DV supporting file sizes 1/10th the size of the 10 bit YUV SD uncompressed file format.
Bluefish444's offline feature can be used by HD customers to edit offline in SD DV, using the
Project Manager in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 to trim the project. The SD DV file is then batch
captured to HD with Bluefish444's10 bit uncompressed QuickTime YUV file format. This
allows Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 customers to capture only what uncompressed footage is
required, freeing up valuable file space.
"Bluefish444 has a long history of supporting the Adobe suite of products, and Adobe Premiere Pro in particular", said Craige Mott, Managing Director of Bluefish444. "Bluefish444 first released uncompressed HD support for Adobe Premiere Pro 6.5 and has supported every version of Premiere Pro released since then. We look forward to supporting both our installed and new customers with a rock solid plug in for the Adobe Production Studio range of products, including Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0".
