Director Aaron Stewart of Hornet Inc. steps up to answer Five Questions.
1. What are you working on today?
I just had a baby boy (Nile on Jan. 3rd) I'm working on becoming a father.
I am also working on "Pass It On," which is a collaborative animation project with a group of studios in New York, L.A and other cities. I am also always brainstorming and writing new ideas for animation shorts.

2. What have you found is the best tool or innovation that has come out
in the last year?

My boy Nile is an innovation for me. I think he going to bring me lots
of positive feeling and feedback.

3. The project (film, television, commercial or music video) that most
impressed you in the last year? Why?

There is so much amazing work being created all the time that it's hard to keep track. Here are some of my favorites from the last year:
– Joel Trussell's War Photographer / What an amazing music video, just love it!
– Saimon Chow's Adicolor Black: podcast / I love the dark gray moody
stopmotion and graphics of this piece, different approach to his usual
brightly colored palette.
– Hunter Gatherer Nike One Time Only / He always creates amazing work ,
love the Eric Carl influence, simple design approach.
– Lifelong Friendship Society website / THE BOMB YO

4. The best or favorite project that you worked on in the past year? And
why?

Nile is for sure my favorite project I created this year.
Coming in second would be "Banana Switcheroo with Nut On The Side"
This is a 3min short I created with William Bredbeck with amazing sound
created by Compound studio.

5. Name the top 4 artists on your iPod?
Lionel Richie
Tammy Faye Starlite
Shel Silverstein
Funkadelic
