2007 Promax/BDA Multi-Award Winning Quinlan Brings Major Brand Agency and High Profile Broadcast Experience to Integrated Solution Studio

Creative Bubble continues to expand the studio’s concept to completion offering with the addition of VFX artist Kevin Quinlan as Senior Flame Artist and VFX Supervisor.
According to David Cohen, Creative Bubble’s EVP of Creative Services, “Kevin is a problem solver and a perfect fit because he’s not only versed in the commercial world but has done many jobs in the broadcast design arena. He can easily adapt from one discipline to the other.” Cohen adds, “I frequently worked with Kevin when I was on the agency side and we made it a priority to add him to Creative Bubble’s expanding Design division because Kevin has worked on some of the biggest brands with some of the most demanding clients.”

Quinlan is the recipient of many prestigious industry awards including ongoing recognition at this years Promax/BDA show where he garnered 1 Gold and 2 Silver awards for his work on the opening for the 2006 Boards Summit. In 2006 Kevin also worked on M&Ms 'Kaleidoscope' which was recognized with a 2006 Honoree award and in 2003 he was awarded a Silver Clio for a Verizon ‘Ferret’ spot.

Prior to joining Creative Bubble, Kevin worked at leading effects houses including Click 3x and Charlex. During his ten year stint at Charlex, his credits ranged from image packages for Nickelodeon and HBO to effects-driven commercials for Cingular, Reebok, America Online and M&Ms.

Kevin functioned as a lead artist on some of the studio’s most challenging assignments, including Eavesdrop for Nextel via TBWA/Chiat Day where he served as on-set supervisor and lead Flame artist. Kevin’s package for HBO featured James Gandolfini, Sarah Jessica Parker and other stars set against a white background.

Kevin was also part of a team of artists who worked on the DirecTV campaign No Ball No Basket No Team (BBDO, New York), in which a basketball team finds itself trying to guard a group of phantoms. “That was a fun project, although it required me to sit at my desk for 46 straight hours,” he recalls. “That spot is typical of what attracted me to visual effects work and to the Flame platform in particular-you can do anything with the right team.” Kevin was interviewed by Dateline NBC for the DirecTV campaign.

Kevin’s boasts a hearty client list including American Express, Budweiser, Burger King, Cingular, Coca Cola, Motorola, Mars Candy, NASCAR, New Balance, Nickelodeon, Verizon and Visa.
