If you’re not in Las Vegas this year — and even if you are, face it, there’s no way you can make it to every booth you want to see, anyway — you’ll be happy to learn that StudioDaily has once again teamed up with the Digital Cinema Society to bring you video direct from the NAB show floor.

There’s plenty more where this came from, so keep checking back here at the blog or at our video splash page for more footage. For starters, we have video from Canon, JVC, Kinoflo, and Polecam. It’s not as good as being there — but you can watch these clips with your feet up, so it’s not such a bad deal.

Canon’s Chuck Westfall talks about the new XF305 and XF300 tapeless-workflow cameras from Canon.

Canon’s Larry Thorpe discusses how Canon lenses are being designed for, and used in, 3D production rigs.

JVC’s David Walton talks up the brand-new GY-HM790, the company’s latest three-chip camera for production, ENG, and studio use.

Tom Jacob of Kino Flo shows the company’s new fluorescent lighting technology, including pole-op capabilities that can save studios money on insurance costs.

Polecam inventor Steffan Hewitt demos the Polecam, a lightweight camera crane system that can be carried in a couple of small bags, and describes a side-by-side 3D Polecam system.
