If you like free software, you might want to head over to the DAZ 3D website this month, while the company is giving away downloads of its Poser competitor DAZ Studio 4 Pro, the venerable 3D landscaping software Bryce 7 Pro, 3D modeling software Hexagon 2.5, and 3D Photoshop Bridge. Seasoned 3D pros won’t be turning away from Maya and 3ds Max in favor of the basic toolsets offered by DAZ, but entry-level users getting their feet wet in 3D may find something they like. Anyway, did I mention that it’s all free?
