In case you need another reminder that 2013 is slowly slipping away, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences just set the key submission deadlines for making projects eligible for consideration for the 86th Academy Awards, set for Sunday, March 2, 2014.

The first one is coming up fast — wannabe contendors for the Scientific and Technical Awards are advised to make their submissions by Friday, July 12. All submissions are due to the Academy by 5 p.m. PT.

Here's a list of this year's just-announced Academy deadlines, with links to the special rules governing submissions, where appropriate.

Tuesday, September 3: Documentary Short Subject
Monday, September 23: Documentary Feature
Friday, November 1: Animated Feature Film
Monday, December 2: Official Screen Credits Form
