Music Company Promotes in Production, Adds New Hire in Brand Partnerships and Music Strategy

Man Made Music, a music company specializing in Sonic Branding, continues to lead the way in the field of Sonic Branding. Under the guidance of Founder and Lead Composer Joel Beckerman, Man Made Music has continued to evolve since its start in 1998. It is home to a core team of Creatives and Strategists who work with major companies such as AT&T, Univision, Hertz, and The Weather Channel. In order to meet the growing needs of the industry, the company has expanded its Creative and Brand Partnership Departments with the promotion of Dan Venne to Vice President, Supervising Producer and the hiring of Kristy Zeigler as Manager of Brand Partnerships & Music Strategy.

Venne's extensive background in the music industry includes years of brand and entertainment experience, a Masters degree from NYU in Jazz Performance and lead guitarist of the band Cougar (which has toured both internationally and stateside, while releasing critically-praised albums on the Ninja Tune label). With the combined strength of his experiences, Venne has developed into a strong creative leader who successfully drives major Sonic Strategy projects. Venne joined the MMM team in 2008, and by 2012, he was promoted to Senior Producer.

Most recently, Venne oversaw the expansion of AT&T's micro-catalogue and played a key role in the Sonic rebranding of Univision with a full Sonic Identity system consisting of network themes, news and sports variations, and radio IDs for the communications giant. In his new position as VP Supervising Producer, Venne is looking to expand the Creative department while maintaining the integrity of the work and cultivating a spirit of innovation.

On the brand partnership front, Zeigler joined the Man Made Music team to work alongside Allison Meiresonne, President of Brand Partnerships. Zeigler also reports to Man Made Music Founder Joel Beckerman in regard to Music Supervision and music business relationships. In her new role, Zeigler will help evangelize Man Made Music, its vision, and its approach to telling great stories with music and sound in the entertainment space. Zeigler will also cultivate relationships with an eye toward A&R, to attract like-minded composers and artists to Man Made Music and oversee the strategy behind Music Supervision.

Previously of The Music Playground/The Lodge, Zeigler worked in music licensing and took on roles in A&R (scouting bands for their catalog), sales, email marketing, social media, and handling artist materials (contracts, promo materials, mp3s, etc.).
