LaCie's latest exercise in high-end design is the Mirror, a new portable 1 TB hard drive encased in Gorilla Glass that comes with a carrying pouch, a cleaning cloth, and its own ebony display stand.

It was concocted in collaboration with the Parisian designer Pauline Deltour. It's not the highest-performance hard disk available (though it does come with USB 3.0 connectivity), and at $280 it's certainly not the cheapest, but it might give you a quick way to check for flop sweat as you hash out your next show with the client peering over your shoulder.
