Artifact-Reduction Tool Now Available for Nuke, Fusion, Vegas Pro, Scratch, Hitfilm, Natron and Nucoda

RE:Vision Effects released two new versions of its DE:Flicker tool for reducing flicker and artifacts in high-frame-rate and time-lapse video.

One of the new releases works with The Foundry Nuke, Blackmagic Design Fusion, Assimlate Scratch, and Digital Vision Nucoda. The other is for Sony Vegas Pro, HitFilm, and the open-source Natron compositor.

GPU acceleration is supported in Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8 and 64-bit Windows 7 and 8; the software will run in CPU mode on Mac OS 10.6 and Windows Vista. Intel HD Graphics are supported on Mac OS 10.9. RE:Vision said GPUs with 1 GB of memory are "officially supported," while GPUs with 500 MB of memory may work. The GPU must support OpenCL 1.1.
