Animatics studio Animated Storyboards opened its tenth office, and its first Canadian location, in Toronto. The new 4,300-square-foot location will feature three edit suites, an audio studio, conference room and lobby area.

The Toronto office will be led by Managing Director Maria Hanafy and staffed with a director, a producer, a marketing associate, and an animator-editor. Other Animated Storyboards offices are in Los Angeles, London, São Paulo, Bangkok, Tel Aviv, Düsseldorf and Shanghai. Globally, the company employs about 300 full-timers, including illustrators, designers, directors, producers, and 2D and 3D artists.

"We're very excited to have a local studio in this unique and talented city, where out clients can call home for all their testing and animation needs," said Hanafy in a prepared statement.
