Westworld season 1 and Halt and Catch Fire season 3 have both been mixed at South Lake Audio Services, a new company recently opened in the Roundabout Entertainment facilities in Burbank.

Run by President Paul Rodriguez, formerly an executive at Waves Audio, Todd-Soundelux and Wilshire Stages, and Emmy-nominated re-recording mixer Keith Rogers (Person of InterestThe Andromeda Strain), South Lake is a union signatory with three mix stages and multiple ADR recording studios. Other staff include effects mixer Scott Weber, ADR mixer Colin Rogers, recordist Kyle O'Neil and recordist and engineer Teddy Salas.

The mix stages have been built with Avid Icon D-Control consoles and Pro Tools editing systems and 4K projection capabilities. South Lake said it plans to add four additional mix stages in 2017, and a possible expansion to a Westside L.A. facility is being considered.

Additionally, the company said it has a working relationship with sound-editing facility Atomic Sound, also in the Roundabout Entertainment building.

While managing the new operation, Rodriguez will remain in his role as VP of audio services and development at Roundabout.
