Wipster Notifications Can Now Be Configured to Show Up in a Team's Slack Channel

Targeting collaborative creative teams who already use Slack, Wipster says it has added Slack integration to its video review-and-approval platform.

Wipster notifications can now be set up to appear in a team's Slack channel, keeping the group up-to-date with the status of a review. The notifications are accompanied by a link that takes users straight to the appropriate frame on Wipster.

Eight different types of notifications can be turned on or off, allowing Slack users to be alerted when videos have been uploaded or downloaded, viewed, shared, approved and published.

Wipster's platform allows users to upload work-in-progress video clips, then share with collaborators who can superimpose comments right on top of the video. Each feedback item is fed into a to-do list to be addressed by the editor working on the project before a new version is uploaded.

In addition to Slack, Wipster is integrated with Vimeo for drag-and-drop video import and one-click export, and with Adobe for the Wipster Review Panel, which the company says gives users the ability to send clips for review directly out of the Premiere Pro or After Effects interface, with returned comments appearing as markers on the timeline.

Wipster pricing starts at $15/month for a single team member (with unlimited storage and sharing) and scales to $135/month for nine team members. Enterprise plans for teams of 10 or more are priced on a case-by-case basis.
