The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today named 15 documentary feature films — out of 145 films submitted for consideration — that will move to the next voting round on the road to the Documentary Feature Oscar.

The titles were selected by the Academy's Documentary Branch in a preliminary voting round. The next step is to winnow the list down to the five titles that will be announced as nominees on Tuesday, January 24.
