AbelCine is moving its New York operations out of the West Village and into Brooklyn this fall.

The company said it’s in the process of moving into the new offices in South Brooklyn’s Industry City. AbelCine first opened a 12,500-square-foot development center housing its engineering, product development and integration teams at the location last November, and has since moved its training facilities there.

Sales should be up and running out of Industry City by next Monday, October 16, with tech services and rental to follow in the coming weeks, according to a schedule posted at the company’s website.

Also coming to the location is The First Cinemakers, an exhibit that will feature examples of early motion picture technology from the Malkames Collection, curated by Rick Malkames, a third-generation cinematographer.
