The guiding aesthetic for this new Ten Fé music video is nothing more complex or innovative than “that film look” — elevated, sometimes milky blacks, nice roll-offs in the highlights, and a tactile quantity of 16mm film grain (well, as much of that as streaming via YouTube allows). Niall Trask directed the band in rural Portugal, and edited; Jack Reynolds was the DP, shooting 16mm film with a Bolex.
