Creative Studios Nice Shoes said that executive producer Nick Litwinko will lead a new longform VFX division from its New York City offices.

Litwinko will be charged with recruiting talent for a boutique-style VFX operation focusing on film and episodic TV, the company said.

Before joining Nice Shoes last September, Litwinko had most recently been managing director at Alkemy X in New York. His resume includes gigs at New York post staples including First Avenue Machine, Blind and Psyop, as well as stints at Rogue Creative, which he founded, and MTV.

“Nice Shoes has always been focused on delivering the highest quality visuals, no matter the scope or size of the project,” said Litwinko in a prepared statement. “I’m excited to continue to build upon these established superior production values to partner with content creators on highly collaborative projects that call for a very focused and stylized VFX approach. While our focus will be on feature and episodic work, we’ll also be available to collaborate with agencies and brands on advertising and branded content.”
