Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated senior VFX supervisor Chas Jarrett, best-known recently for his work as production VFX supervisor on Disney’s Aladdin, has joined Dneg, the company said.

Before Aladdin, Jarrett’s career included work as production VFX supervisor on James Mangold’s Wolverine thriller, Logan, Joe Wright’s Peter Pan origin story Pan, Guy Ritchie’s VES Award-winning Sherlock Holmes and sequel, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and the Oscar-nominated disaster pic Poseidon.

Jarrett worked with director Tim Burton on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
