Do you use YouSendIt? For those who haven’t, it’s a file sharing service that allows the user to send, receive and track files up to 2 gigs in size. You can upload a single file for pickup or use a YouSendIt dropbox for more functionality. (Hmmm, sounds a lot like Dropbox.) There are lite, pro, business and corporate accounts so you can choose the plan that best fits your needs.
The useful part for editors comes via Final Cut Pro. It’s a plug-in for Final Cut Pro that adds an export option to the Export menu to Send via YouSendIt:
They actually offer plug-ins for a number of apps including Photoshop, iPhoto and Aperture among others. And there’s a free 14 days trial so you can try it out for yourself.
