Since so many Web viewers are already using Flash Player 9, but the full developer’s version of Flash Professional 9 is yet to be released, Adobe has created a nice interim fix. We went to Adobe Labs, the company’s sneak-peek portal, and found the Adobe Flash Professional 9 ActionScript 3.0 Preview download (click here). This upgrade gives registered users of Flash Professional 8 early access to the new ActionScript 3.0 language and the ability to publish to Flash Player 9. It promises to give them deeper, richer programming options, better standards compliance and faster performance.
