On June 23rd and 24th, Cine Gear Expo 2006 opens at the Wadsworth Theatre and Grounds in West Los Angeles, California. Now in its 10th year, Cine Gear has grown into the premiere film, video and digital media expo, networking event and seminar series for the Hollywood production and postproduction communities.
Cine Gear Expo provides the opportunity to meet with companies producing the latest tools and services for the industry, gain new skills, hear breaking news, and network with peers and industry leaders. Attendees can check out new, groundbreaking equipment and services from exhibitors such as Arri Inc., Band Pro Film & Digital, Doggicam, Eastman Kodak, Fuji Film, K-5600, Innovision Optics, Matthews Studio Equipment, Mole Richardson, OConnor, Panasonic, Panavision, Sachtler, and more.
The Cine Gear Premiere Series seminars and panel discussions run both days of the event and are offered to attendees free of charge. Conducted by distinguished members of the American Society of Cinematographers and the International Documentary Association, the series addresses pertinent industry trends. Hosted by top industry professionals, Cine Gear Expo Master Classes will be held on June 25th at nearby locations.
Online registration for Cine Gear Expo Los Angeles is now open. Doors open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday June 23rd, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00pm, Saturday June 24th. This is the chance to mingle with industry peers and get hands-on technical training while enjoying refreshments, music and entertainment in a relaxed, open-air atmosphere.
