The Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival will host its eighth biannual cutting-edge Tech Symposium in Los Angeles, October 4-5, at the Skirball Cultural Center. The Symposium is an intimate technology event where media professionals connect with the best and brightest minds of the digital age. Panels, seminars, roundtable discussions, and equipment demos during two immersive days give independent media professionals a closer look at emerging technology and an opportunity to interact with top thinkers and technologists.
Panelists include members of the digital vanguard, including Discovery Networks Executive VP and Chief Science Editor Steve Burns, Yahoo Producer and Director of Content Production John Canning, search-engine marketer Gregory Markel, Fun Little Movies President Frank Chindamo, Wenden Baldwin, Director of Special Projects for DTS Digital Images, and Mark Jacobs, Executive Producer for BBC’s Natural History Unit and a member of the Learning and Interactive Innovation Team. Other panelists include Doug Fulton, President of Dave.tv, and filmmakers David Vassar, Robert Render Harrison, Bruce Hickey and Louis Schwarzberg.
