LaserPacific Media Corporation, a subsidiary of the Eastman Kodak Company, has announced that Larson Studios, also based in Hollywood, will operate a second Larson facility at LaserPacific's Seward Street location. Larson Studios will offer sound services for LaserPacific clients and others.

LaserPacific CEO, Brian Burr in announcing the relationship said, "Larson's operation of its sound facilities on our site provides us with the ability to continue to help our customers in sound by aligning ourselves with the first class people and facilities that Larson provides. Going forward, this relationship with Larson allows us to remain focused on our core businesses in Television and Feature Film postproduction."

Larson CEO Rick Larson added, "Our growing business required us to expand our footprint. The LaserPacific sound facility, which features the latest digital mixing technology, was a ready-made opportunity for us. In addition, because we share many common customers, this relationship with LaserPacific was a natural."

Some of the first shows to utilize the new Larson Studios Seward Street location are three shows produced by The Piller-Segan Company - WILDFIRE for ABC Family, DEAD ZONE for USA Networks, and the upcoming GREEK also for ABC Family. LaserPacific, in addition to providing postproduction services to these shows also currently provides them with editorial and office space in the Seward Street location.

"The ability for our customers to walk down the hall from their cutting rooms to the sound facility was a huge win for LaserPacific, Larson and our mutual customers," said LaserPacific President Leon Silverman.
