Lost Planet recently appointed Editor Charlie Johnston as partner. Johnston, who is based in New York, will join Paul Martinez, who was promoted as a partner last year. The two will work with owner/editor Hank Corwin and Executive Producer Betsy Beale in continuing to build Lost Planet’s position as a top editorial house.
Working with Lost Planet for the past nine years, Charlie regularly works with acclaimed directors Michel Gondry, Paul Hunter, Malik Sayeed and Robert Logevall. Charlie’s hip urban aesthetic lends an energetic element to his body of work. He won an MVPA award for editing and was nominated for a VMA award for editing The White Stripes’ “Hardest Button to Button.”
