A Band Apart’s Michael Palmieri Directs for Foo Fighters, The Strokes

Director Michael Palmieri of A Band Apart continues to maintain a frenetic pace with videos for some of the country’s top bands. Immediately upon completing his topsy-turvy DOA video for the Foo Fighters, he returned for another shoot with the Foos for their song Resolve. The clip is set for release in early November.

Palmieri then traveled to New York to shoot Juice Box, his first clip for RCA recording artist The Strokes. Currently in post production, that video will also premiere in November. Palmieri’s crew included acclaimed cinematographer Christopher Doyle (Hero).

Palmieri has been on a hot streak since directing Honest Mistake, the video that launched The Bravery, one of the year’s most successful artist debuts. That video drew considerable airplay on MTV and elsewhere due to Palmieri’s ingenious use of thousands of tumbling dominos. Palmieri has also recently directed videos for Tears for Fears (featuring Britney Murphy) and Marjorie Fair.
