First look?! It's been out since September 2008!

I like what this guy is saying. It really gave me the feeling they had NO idea what a huge hit they would have on their hands with this cam. The red rock kit looks cool too. I really hope they come out with another full frame cam that has aperture control and xlr mics. I'd sell my ex in a heartbeat.

I agree with Mike, once they get over the Auto Iris and a better audio interface/monitoring, this is going to be an incredible tool. This also is opening up the flood gates for this type of configuration which can only be a good thing.

21 megapixels is huge... I'm wondering if the single sensor, as big as it is, beats out a high-end purpose-built multi-chip camera... I'm guessing it just muscles past any 3-chip's advantages on sheer size alone... any clues on this aspect?

Just give us a straight response about aperture control already, will we get it on the 5d2 YES/NO I would like to continue to buy canon glass but I will get Nikon lenses with aperture rings if Canon doesn't respond to this need of the community.

Wow. How can one record longer video?
I guess changing discs. Does it record any audio? The price point seems very good. Maybe I can add still photography to my video biz.
