Globalstor announced a new storage device specifically designed for the RED camera, the ExtremeStor-DI REDe, which features Dual Quad core processors that are optimized for uncompressing and playing back RED camera footage as a high-resolution 2K image at 24 frames per second. Available in a 24-drive 5U that offers up to 24 TB, it also includes the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600/5600 by PNY professional graphics board (optional NVIDIA Quadro® FX 4600/5600 SDI available from PNY).
