VFX Supervisor John Knoll shows how the visual effects on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films evolved and what they did to get the data needed while not intruding on the work of the director, cinematographer and actors.

This video was shot during a seminar sponsored by the Visual Effects Society at CineGear 2008. Look for the other videos with VFX supervisors Jeffrey Okun and Michael Fink.

iMocap was also used on IRON MAN, which I just read about in the new Cinefex issue. Nice to see it in action here!
