Autodesk presented the first step in what it is calling a three-year roadmap that will integrate Maya and 3ds Max more closely while strengthening the the individual power of each application. At SIGGRAPH, Maurice Patel, director of marketing, media and entertainment division of Autodesk, explains what this first step means and what the plans are for the future.
