Blackmagic Design added support for Adobe Creative Suite 4 to its line-up of video-editing products, including Multibridge, DeckLink and Intensity hardware. The Windows-based software update is available for download from the company’s Web site (www.blackmagic-design.com) at no charge.

The software update also includes Blackmagic’s RS-422 support for insert and assemble-to-tape functions, giving users frame-accurate control when recording out to broadcast VTRs.

Also supported are enhanced real-time HD and SD effects; 4:3 and 16:9 DV capture and playback; a new edit-to-tape interface for Premiere Pro; 4:4:4 2K-resolution support for After Effects real-time preview and Photoshop export.
