I watched Steve demo at NAB. MB has really come along - a beautiful tool!

I'm wondering if the spot fx coordinates are keyframable so they can accept tracking data, or is it that once you place the spot exposure that's where it lives for the whole shot.

I wonder the same thing. If they can't be keyframed (or ideally, motion tracked) then they'd be of very limited use to me, since there seems to be no way to use AE's own tools to control them.

i love the thinking behind this, with the camera analogy
makes a lot of sense.

some questions:

1. also, both examples of the spot fx were circles.
any way to turn them into elipses?
more complex shapes?

2. can the colour wheels be enlarged?

3. any scopes other than histogram?

To answer a couple of the questions:

Yes you can keyframe the looks on different frames just by keyframing the Edit control in After Effects. Other hosts will not likely support this kind of keyframing.

We decided to stick to basic shapes for this release but more extensive shapes are on the list for the future.

The color wheels are fixed in size but we have paid close attention to the sensitivity so that you can easily dial in color even on the small wheel.

There are only RGB parade and slice graphs in this release.

Yes, the next Looks tutorial should be motion tracking using keyframes in AE!! Would love to see it, so many people would benefit from seeing one.

Looks impressive but will the spot effect be keyframable with Avid FX or just AE in the future?

Hello,
I just started playing with this tool and I am having a problem after I create my look. So say I have created a look and I am ready to send the look to the host application: in my case FCP. When click the "OK" button my look is blown out in FCP??? Any solution? Also, I am renaming my Look in the untitled field and a pop up that says "Sorry, an error occurred while attempting to save the file" Mabey this has something to do with it? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have Magic nullet suite 2008 and final cut pro.
I have a problem with that filter. When i tried to grade the color in a clip, the Magic Bullet´s interfase show me a kind of color correction, and when I show the same color correction in the canvas of FCP I show a different picture. The image in final Cut Pro it´s more darken than Magic Bullet interfase. Can I adjust this problem?
Sorry about my little english. Thanks
