Video and audio product developer FOR-A recently added a new digital video switcher to its Hanabi line, the HVS-1500HS. It features an up-converter, down-converter, color corrector and DVE, which has a choice of three compact 24, 16, or 12-button control panels. The new model is switchable between HD and SD, supporting HD formats 1080/60i, 59.94i, 50i, 24p, 24PsF, 23.98p, 23.98PsF, 720/60p, and 59.94p; and SD formats 525/60 and 625/50. $49,900 (16 button); $54,900 (24 button).
