In direct response to customer demand, FOR-A, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems, is introducing an enhanced line of multi-functional HD products at IBC 2008 that reinforce the company’s theme of “Imagination to Creation.” FOR-A will exhibit in Hall 2, Stand A51/B59 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from September 12-16, 2008.
Since 2005, FOR-A has adopted a mission, summed up by the “Imagination to Creation” theme. In keeping with that theme, the company has focused on bringing products and technologies to market in response to specific customer demand.
FOR-A’s product development initiative is geared toward answering demand for high quality, cost-effective, and multi-functional products that are simple to use – while maintaining a firm grasp on ever-evolving technology. FOR-A has expanded its product line to meet the need for file-based and tapeless management solution systems and has responded to growing trends in developing products that satisfy an appetite for HD content.

At IBC 2008 FOR-A is demonstrating a new switcher, model HVS-300HS, as well as the HVS-5000 series 2 to 4 M/E video switcher that supports the 3Gbps signal standard. Also being demonstrated at IBC is FOR-A’s MediaConcierge media management solution and its MBP-100SX/PD converter; the 16-channel MV-1610HS multi-viewer; the FRC-3000 frame rate converter; and new audio capabilities for the popular FRC-7000 frame rate converter.
