HD production is a little nerve racking because, with all the benefits of the new technology, you never know for certain whether what you were shooting would achieve the desired look on screen after color correction. Because HD has less dynamic range than film, there is less latitude to make adjustments in post. But you can take the uncertainty out of HD production by combining the Cine-tal Cineimage monitoring system with the Gamma & Density 3cP color correction software to see precisely what the color corrected images will look like from the production set.
