Not only can you import Final Cut or Avid timelines into Adobe After Effects using Automatic Duck’s Pro Import AE for compositing or effects work, you can also do high-resolution conforms very quickly.
First, edit using lower-res proxy media, then import the edit into After Effects using Pro Import AE.
Next, import your high-res footage versions and connect them to the layers in your comp, replacing the low-res versions. Change your comp settings and you’re done!
