Independent filmmakers take note: Redrock Micro is releasing a microX accessory for the Redrock M2 cinema lens adapter. The microX attaches to the M2 to provide a correctly oriented image. The lens adapter adapts 35mm lenses to DV or HD/V video cameras that replicate the depth of field, angle-of-view, and focus techniques of 35mm motion picture film. The microX accessory attaches to the M2 to provide an upright image, simplifying production environments and post-production workflow. With nearly transparent optics, the microX adds minimal light loss. Available in early 2008. Pricing not yet finalized.
