Click Gets VFX Done Remotely in India

For 137 visual effects shots for the feature film Click, Sony Pictures Imageworks turned to FrameFlow, a visual effects studio operating out of Chennai, India, with offices in LA and Atlanta. The majority of FrameFlow’s work involved adding CG elements to the remote control, as well as garbage cleanup and wire removal.

For <I>Click</I>, FrameFlow create and composited the CG element into he remote control using Autodesk Maya for CG, Apple Shake for compositing, Silhouette for rotoscoping and 2d3 Boujou for matchmoving.

You're kidding, right?...
Post-production work being done in India, all for cheaper wages, while those Americans who did the post jobs wait on the unemployment line. Something is very wrong with this picture.
