Snell & Wilcox’s Kahuna SD/HD multiformat production switcher is now available in a smaller 6-RU form factor for 1-M/E and 2-M/E applications. Offering the ability to intermix SD and HD sources seamlessly within the same production, the new Kahuna mainframe supports up to two full M/E banks and four tiles of IMPAKT 3D DVE. It can also be used with a broad range of full-sized and compact Kahuna control panels.
IMPAKT, the 3D DVE option for the Kahuna, includes a new range of DVE options: ripples, swirls, glows, warps, melts, and flats; 3D shatter effects; greater flexibility with TrailStore and lighting; and enhanced timeline control for the DVE. PRICING N/A.
