Fujinon recently made two new major introductions to its lens lines: a Premiere Series lens, the HA23x7.6BE, and the ZA series, a line of cost-effective HD lenses. The HA23x7.6BE has 23 times magnification and a focal length ranging from 7.6mm at the wide end, zooming out to 175 mm to capture extreme telephoto shots. The HD ENG ZA series includes: the ZA22x7.6BE, a telephoto lens and a 2x extender for extreme telephoto shots; the ZA17x7.6BE, a standard lens; and the ZA12x4.5BE, a wide-angle lens that has 12 times magnification. ExpoImaging has just introduced the ExpoDisc Digital White Balance Filter for video production, based on its popular white balance filter for photography,. The disc acts like an 18% gray card when used to measure incident light, and so can be used instead. The design enables the disc to receive, scramble and passively transmit mixed light from a wide angle in front through to the back image sensor for accurate white balance correction.
