In this video from NAB, James Mathers talks with Mitch Gross, director of rentals at Able Cine Tech, about the HD Scope, which Abel Cine Tech partnered with Wolfgang Roessel of Munich-based CPT to create. Designed and manufactured in Germany by the makers of the T-Rex lens system, the HD Scope is brings all the benefits of a 35 mm T-Rex to users of HD cameras with 2/3-inch CCD imagers. Features include a fast T4 stop and a front head that pans 360° while maintaining the horizon, ideal for tabletop work, tight spaces, unusual angles and other effects shots. $850/day (rental); contact Abel Cine Tech for purchase price.
