In this webinar, StudioDaily's Beth Marchant interviews Jody Neckles, one of the industry's preeminent DITs. We explore the emergence of the DIT role and new on-set tools, such as ASSIMILATE's SCRATCH Lab, and how they have changed digital productions. Beth and Jody will discuss a range of topics to help DITs, directors, DPs and ADs, plus those interested in transitioning to DIT roles, get a firmer grasp of their on-set options. Jody show you what he means in a demo of SCRATCH Lab.
You’ll learn:
• What is the scope of the DIT role, and how has it changed in the last 12 months?
• What can a DP and Director expect from a great DIT?
• How do DPs and DITs collaborate to acquire images, set looks and produce dailies more effectively?
• How have on-set and on-location tools evolved to empower the DIT and the DP?
• How have those tools streamlined the production process?
• What particular challenges do these new workflows create?
