NAS, which lets users share uncompressed SD and HD content over 10 Gb
Ethernet. As Ethernet emerges as a preferred infrastructure for the
multi-stream sharing and delivery of formats such as DV25/50 and
MPEG-2, 10 Gb Ethernet components are in demand. Addressing this need,
the DiMeda 10G presents users with a simple, plug-and-play,
high-performance alternative to SAN-based systems, and also opens the
door to compressed HD formats such as HDV for broadcast and JPEG 2000
for digital cinema. $48,000.
