CoreMelt’s Lock & Load for FCP

Post your comments below

This new software stabilizer for Final Cut Pro improves on Final Cut Pro's built-in Smooth Cam filter: it’s six times faster, in fact, and only analyzes the section of the clip you need. Says company director and product designer Roger Bolton, "Smooth Cam just doesn't work as reliably as this plug-in. One reason is that our stabilizer only analyses the section of the clip you need—it ignores foreground motion intelligently. You can also animate all the parameters, so you make sure you only fix what you need to fix." Bolton pointed out that the tool's smart adaptive zoom figures out where the problems are and automates the fix, so you don't have to do it yourself. Look for a version for After Effects, which he says is coming in about a month or so. www.coremelt.com.

I love your articles and reviews, but why does it seem like they never have links to the products being discussed?
