Sonic Solutions has just launched Scenarist 4 and CineVision,
professional high-definition authoring and encoding systems for
creating interactive Blu-ray and HD DVD titles. Scenarist 4 features
direct, cell-level access to the next generation format specs and
support for HDMV (movie mode) and BD-J, Blu-ray disc authoring, as well
as Standard and Advanced Content HD DVD authoring. It can also be
configured for facilities producing one or both formats. CineVision
supports H.264, VC-1 and MPEG-2 and has been optimized for authoring
houses that work with a wide range of input types, including QuickTime,
AVI and DPX image sequences. Prices TBA.
