The Tribeca Film Festival is coming up and Apple just published the schedule for accompanying Apple Store SoHo events. The schedule includes "Meet the Filmmaker" talks with some impressive writers, directors, producers, and actors. This will be our fifth year participating in Tribeca and all events are free, open to the general public and include audience Q&A.
The “Meet the Filmmaker” events kick off on April 22 with Spike Lee. It will continue through May 2 with playwright/ filmmaker Conor McPherson, “My Life in Ruins” star Nia Vardalos, and Eric Bana discussing his directorial debut “Love the Beast” among others. In addition, aspiring filmmakers and students can also participate in more than 30 free filmmaking workshops at the Apple Store SoHo (4/22 – 5/3) focused on everything from what’s new in filmmaking to script writing, film editing with Final Cut Pro and more.
