New Split Animator and Updates to Stereo3D Toolbox

Noise Industries has launched FxFactory 3.0.4, which brings both Final Cut Pro X and CS6 support to 3D production and effects tools in the FxFactory family. The company also just unveiled two new products, Tokyo Split Animator and Nattress Video Scrapbook.

Stereo3D Toolbox 4.0 and Stereo3D Toolbox LE 4.0 feature a newly redesigned UI that works natively in FCPX. Stereo3D Toolbox is regularly $1499 but is discounted for a short time on Noise Industries' site for $999. Volumetrix, now in version 2.1, comes with 64 new templates for FCPX and is free to current customers. PHYX Color, a vintage film look filter, has been updated to 2.0.

Developed by UK-based boutique facility Tokyo, Tokyo Split Animator packages 19 FCPX templates with built-in yet simple animation features that let users comp original layouts. Watch the video demo above and you'll see how you can customize the animation presets and layout options for a variety of split-screen looks and transitions.

Nattress Video Scrapbook comes from RED guru Graeme Nattress and turns still photos into video segments that go beyond the omnipresent Ken Burns effect. There are a bunch of fun and retro transitions included, plus some nice options to fill out your background when the resolution and size of your original photo doesn't fill the 16×9 frame.
